I arrived in Denver and after having a shuttle driver get lost en route to the McCain headquarters, I've had a great day. A friend of mine from Omaha, Beth, happened to be in Denver on business and was free today. We had an excellent day- caught most of a Rockies game, drove around downtown, and ate ate a lovely restaurant called "THE ELEPHANT BAR" (I have a thing for elephants) I returned to McCain HQ at about 7 and have been painting signs ever since.
I'm glad I had a somewhat relaxing day today- it sounds like this week will be long and difficult. Not quite sure what I'll be up to, but it sounds like the days will be 12-16 hours long. I'm just really excited for the fun to start :)
