another exciting day

It's been about 24 hours since I last reported... computer access has been down. After leaving the War Room last night I went to a reception for the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee. I was able to snag pictures with Ben Nelson and Scott Kleeb- I asked for a picture with Chuck Schumer, but he refused. Can't really blame him, I was wearing a McCain shirt.

After that we walked around downtown for a while trying to find any media coverage. This didn't work so well. Eventually we ended up at a John McCain rally for Hillary Clinton supporters. IT was one of the oddest cross-sections of individuals. I'd say about 60 percent hard core McCain supporters and 40 percent hard core Hillary supporters. 99.999 percent of the time these two groups wouldn't be caught dead with eachother. But we had a pretty good time.

I eventaully made to a my hotel (a bed! a bed!) This morning I came back to the War Room, but today they wanted me to do something different. I can't say what it is, only that it was fun and succesful. Once the convention is over, I can provide all the juicy details.

Right now,I'm back at the War Room. Governor Mitt Romney is hosting a press conference along side Congressmen Eric Cantor, Lincoln Diaz-Balart, and Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn.
